Saved for a rainy day…

On Saturday it rained. Like, really rained… Cold torrential downpours all day long, without a break. I was due at the beach for a shoot with a lovely family which despite being nearly June,  just wasn’t going to happen! So with a day freed up to spend with my beautiful daughter and an itchy trigger...

Could it be that spring weather has actually finally hit Scotland?! It’s days like yesterday when I remember why I really love my job. I headed out to ‘the office’ – Yellowcraigs beach at Dirleton – in glorious sunshine for a fab family shoot with the Mackenzies! Such a lovely family, the kids Katie and...

Harry and Rory…

I was out in the beautiful countryside in Dollar recently, to photograph Andrew and Rachel with their delightful wee boys Harry and Rory. I first met them (minus Rory!)  back in October 2011, when I photographed them and the rest of the extended family at the beach, great fun… Lovely to see how Harry is...

Pincers at dawn…

Rose has spent the last week perfecting her finger and thumb pincer action, grabbing everything she can get her hands on with the most intricate movements. Lovely to see but it’s not always a good thing… I curled Rosie into bed with me this morning to try and get a bit more sleep after her...

Today I shared a wonderful walk in the Botanics with friends Lucy and Matt and their three children, Daphne, Rosie and Benjamin. Lots of fun, I just had to take some shots of the kids in the beautiful colours before the last...
